Christmas Eve

Ruby and I woke very early this morning and were taking a walk before the household even stirred.
After breakfast, we ventured to do a short 2km hike at Wansbrough walk which I mistakenly read to be an easy and not too hilly walk. Turned out to have a very steep gradient and a difficult hike.
The hard work paid off though, as we had a very scrumptious lunch at Maleeya Thai Restaurant. It was surprising to find Highland cattle in the paddock, an impressive cacti garden and authentic Thai food truly in the middle of nowhere .
After a restful afternoon, we had the most yummy glazed Christmas ham with salad and potato salad, painstakingly prepared by Ruby and Kai.
We finished the night with monopoly then icecream panatone.Read more
