Christmas Day

Christmas morning started with yummy shortbread and coffee. The start of our gastronomic journey today.

We then followed with Christmas presents giving, and then a fantastic breakfast prepared by Warrick and Kai.

We then climbed a mountain on Christmas Day. We unanimously decided to hike up Castle Rock with Kai, Warrick and Jane continuing all the way up to the Sky Walk, which is a platform at the top of Castle Rock that circumnavigates the rock.
After a 5.16 km walk, we had a picnic of yesterday's ham for lunch.

When we got back to the accommodation, Ruby started to prepare the turkey for our dinner. Whilst the turkey was in the oven, we went to the barn which was converted into a games room with pool table, ping pong and table soccer. We had to work off some of the food, somehow...
Dinner was roast turkey and Christmas pudding for dessert. Super scrumptious.
