We were undecided whether to pack up and leave or stay another night. We were not up to a major hike but decided to stay to do a bit of orchid hunting and some gentle flat walks around this property. We did 17200 steps today compared to 6800 steps but we are not the least bit tired nor drained. Stirling Range Retreat sits on 50 hectares of land with lovely walks around the property, meandering through bush and woodlands. One walk crossed Chester Pass Road and brought us towards the bottom of Bluff Knoll. The sun was out today, and it was lovely having a slow and lazy day around our campsite.Read more
