Wharariki / Murchison

From the Northernmost point of the South Island we can only head into one direction: South 😂 since it‘s going to be the same route as we came up, we‘ll try to get as far as possible.

We passed by Golden Bay again and filled up our groceries in Takaka, a cute little town, but then needed to cross the Takaka „hill“, where we came to the limits of our brakes. 😬 Along the southern side of the Kahurangi NP (for next time!) we finally made it to Murchison. It was a looooooooong drive.

Near Takaka we had a quick stop at Pupu springs. Crystal clear water. 😍Läs mer
