    Still feeling rough.
Early start at 5:30am for a five hour tour with 2 other couples and a great guide Jonny. Along quiet canals, some overgrown with weeds for about an hour seeing no other tourist boats, then onto the main stretch where the floating market is and lots of tourists. Stopped for pho at one boat which was amazing and strangely didn't feel odd to have noodle soup for breakfast. I had a coconut and Anna had one of the best coffees ever! Then went to a different boat and climbed aboard for fruit. Also given a bag of banana chips which were so good.
Stopped at rice noodle factory and saw the traditional method of making them, then walked round a local market - selling all sorts, meat, fish, veg, flowers, rats! Anna bought 2 conical hats for 80k each versus 500k in the airport. Chaotic at times with lots of motorbikes weaving through. Stopped for some cake made over fire in the street and also given more fruit like we had after dinner in Ninh Binh, the grapefruit type. Then another hour home where found it hard not to drift off asleep. Totally would have if comfier seats.
After a lovely nap in the hammocks we had some lunch at the homestay and then dipped in the pool and laid in the sun - our first proper chill afternoon which was lovely. Played some pool, watched celeb race across the world, had dinner and caught up on photos etc.
