Of what lays behind the pastel coloured doors and shutters,
Under clay tiled roofs with layered, scalloped edged gutters.
Olives and figs observed forming on abundant trees
Perfumed bushes thrumming with the buzzing of bees.
Lush green leaves appearing on old gnarled vines
