An hour and half drive across Skye leaving behind it’s allure
Headed to quaint Plokton to partake in a Highland Cow tour.
Wonderful to wander amongst the hairy bovines with no rush
Highlight being able to give them a cuddle and a good brush.

Contined towards the east coast looking for a quick meal
Finding gluten free choices proved to be quite an ordeal!
Our destination was a sustainable housesit located in Rora
It’s remoteness increases the chance of seeing an aurora.

Priority was to care for Buttons, a cat recently rescued
Skittish, but he’s a real loving, handsome tabby dude.
Quickly settled in to the comfy home so spick n span
