Rangitoto Island

Today I caught the 25 minute ferry ride to Rangitoto Island. It is a volcanic Island and I did the 259 meter climb to the summit for beautiful views over the Gulf and Harbour where I ate my lunch. IWeiterlesen
Mt Eden / Maungawhau

This is the highest point in Auckland, a long extinct volcano that has a crater of all grass now. When you get to the top you are rewarded with 360 degree views of Auckland. It was spectacular!
Eden Garden

Eden Garden is just that... a Garden of Eden. It is beautifully laid out and would be spectacular coming into spring.
Auckland Domain Wintergardens

Parnell Rose Garden & Judges Bay

This was another beautiful spot to wander with great views across the wharves. Judges Bay and Parnell Baths are one of the largest sea baths you could ever see.
Bastion Point Lookout
