Dakar, Senegal - Hospital

We stopped at the most interesting hospital on the way to the Pink Lake (see photos). First of all, it was a forest, yes that was the hospital. It was full of trees and plants specifically used for medicinal purposes and herbal remedies. They have little huts where they treat patients and they have developed successful herbal remedies for high blood pressure, diabetes, hemorrhoids, morning sickness, skin diseases and liver cancer.
