• Sea Day Busyness - 6am - 11:30pm ...full day

    April 19, Timor Sea ⋅ 🌧 81 °F

In addition to: cycling this morning, choir practice, attending Church Services, attending a future cruise presentation, and our mandatory team trivia .... we went to 2 lectures, a frequent cruiser cocktail party, and 2 shows.

There was a lecture on Komodo (we will be there in 2 days) and one of 4 lectures on how to do Ancestry research and recording for posterity. The Captain's Cocktail party for return cruisers had some interesting stats. The demographics this "leg of the cruise" are: 121 passengers from Canada, 165 from Australia and 634 Americans and 25 others. Only 185 people are on their first Oceania cruise ... all the rest of us are "veterans". The interesting stat was that 151 were platinum level (20-30 cruises... that's us), 48 were diamond (30-60 cruises) and 49 were Presidents Club with over 60 cruises ...on Oceania! There are only 155 people at the President level on the ENTIRE FLEET and 49 of them are with us on this trip. The most frequent three: 1628 days at sea (7 ATW), 2078 days at sea (5 ATW) and our friend Chris M. with 2492 days at sea and 9 ATW. ...yes, they need to name a deck after her!!!!

Could there be a better way to end this day than a Latin tribute and the Four Corners Band playing a medley of GLORIA songs just for me ...really!!! (2 videos-GLORIA)
