Free afternoon? No problem.

After a quick lunch, we took that ten pound box of winter clothing and mailed it back to myself in the states... since it was 95 degrees again. Then to escape the heat, we had this grand plan we would ride a train to the lake and then to the high mountains. Surprise! It was hotter there. So we caught another train back to the end of our little valley and the start of our morning walk. There is a hotel and restaurant in this out if the way place, and we sat outside in the gathering clouds. Wow! Best food I have ever eaten...no joke. Then we hiked home in a gentle rain from there on a new part of the trail by our home. Found another beautiful waterfall tucked away by the trail. I don't normally post pictures of food, but this homemade pesto was unbelievable. Now it is thundering and pouring, coming off the earth. Good night all!Читать далее
