She Made It!
28 September 2018, CinaKathy finally made it to the top of the Wall! The trail stopped at 12 Fortress. I'm not sure what those markers are measuring but she passed all of them. She looks very tired but so happy!

Kathy's going up the Wall very quickly! I wonder how long she'll be able to keep up that pace. I'm very confident that she'll make it to the top though. She's determined!
A few of the people from our tour group are returning and I'm just starting to get a glimpse of Kathy coming back. Not everyone made it to the top but they all look exhausted.
Kathy looks exhausted from her hike up into the mountains but the important thing is, she did it. I'm so proud of her for sticking to it and finishing the difficult climb.
While Kathy was climbing the Wall, I was exploring the ground level area. Even without climbing, there's so much for me to see here. I'm going to be getting some great pictures of the Wall!
I couldn't even imagine starting such a huge project. The wall goes on as far as I can see and it's so thick and strong. The amount of people working on this must have been incredible!
Die Chinesische Mauer ist eine Schutzanlage zur Grenzsicherung, die während der Ming-Dynastie (1368–1644) im Norden Chinas errichtet wurde.
In between my Lego shots, I was still taking pictures of the Great Wall, trying to get every view and angle that I could think of. I'm still feeling amazed that we're actually here!
