Between Barcelona and Avignon we stopped to visit Pont du Gard, a 2000+ year old, Roman built Aqueduct. This three tiered, 160 ft high structure crosses the Gardon River and once carried 44 million gallons of water per day to the citizens of nearby Nimes.Leia mais
