Golegã houses have a ‘house style’ - white with orange or blue trim.

Many visual references to horses though we saw none.

Lovely route. Along the way we saw: lots of cranes, hoopoes, wild fennel, cactus flowers, bird of paradise plants.

Cafe offering: fish eggs, tripe, gizzards, octopus salad, snails and pigs ears. As vegetarians we declined.
