    Kelso to Jedburgh

    May 10, 2022 in Scotland ⋅ ⛅ 13 °C

Longer walk, with the day treated as a leg of a Camino, i.e. early start, early finish.

07:10 bus to Kelso for a cool breezy start. We fortified ourselves with a fried egg sandwich and a coffee before starting the walk.

Long sections walking beside the Tweed and the Teviot.

Arrived back in Jedburgh before 1pm in time to get a light lunch at the Naked Sourbough bakery - white bean soup with cavalo nero and Parmesan, and a grilled cheese sandwich using charcoal and sesame sourdough and kimchi.
