MatkaajaHi Sheila. I've been a bit poorly again today - nauseous - but hoping that's my lot. I'm such a delicate flower these days. To get that photo we were sitting (alone) on another promontory that was lower down but also overhanging the valley. We were looking up at a bunch of other tourists - it was an intimate gathering (not) of 200 people to watch the sunset.

At nearly 7000m Cerro Aconcagua is the highest peak in S America. We managed to walk part way towards the first base camp and were very lucky to have such great weather to see the peak so clearly. InLue lisää
