Asheville, NC

Next morning we head west through the mountains just south of the Great Smokey Mountains. Some gorgeous views early on and then again closer to Asheville. Had lunch at a meeting point of the Appalachian trail.

It was still going to be cold the next 2 evenings so we booked a cabin with electricity, a mattress and HEAT! Had a shared kitchen facility and fire pit. Quite nice.Read more
