Day 10-Porrino to Redondela

Today will be our next to last day on the C amino. It was Sunday and we almost caught a mass at a beautiful small church in a little village. We see many Catholic shrines along the way (see photo). Through the small towns you can find some great old houses and some modern ones, usually with wonderful gardens. We often arrive at our destination by early afternoon and that gives us plenty of time in the evening to explore the town. Later in the day we walked around the gorgeous town of Redondela and even took a local tram to the beach for an hour or so. Two big climbs and 12 miles tomorrow.Read more
