After 24 hours of traveling, we just wanted to sit and relax for a bit. Just beside our hotel, we found the Washington Cafe. Gnocchi di pesto, pizza amatricana, and some very good vino de casa.

LorraineHi Michele and Dan. Sorry to hear about the rerouting, but I guess it could have been worse than to have to land in Rome early. I love gnocchi! And I love the picture of your meal, they both look perfect. Please keep them coming. Ciao!

LorraineI can't wait to try some authentic dishes. The trick will be finding the anchovies. Maybe I can order them from my fish market.
