Mt. Washington Cog Train

The Mt. Washington Cog Train is the second steepest rack railway in the world with an average grade of over 25% and a maximum grade of 37.41%. The railway is around 3 miles long. The train goes up at almost 3 mph and down at 4.5 mph. We decided to take the steam train instead of the diesel, gives it a more authentic feel.
