El Morro National monument

Beautiful day and I did the hike over the top of the box canyon, and found snow. Talked myself over it all knowing the van was parked in front of ranger station and they would find me if anything went wrong. Apparently I still don't feel comfortable walking on the top of things with nothing to grab ahold of. It was around 9am and the ravens were having a blast on the thermals coming off of the rocks. Started the hike with them soaring above me and in the middle they were even with me. That did make it worth the walk across the top.Read more
