Our first wildlife 'hotspot’ for the day was a slow cruise past South Marble Island bird sanctuary. Everyone gathered on deck to watch. We saw tufted puffins, a pair of horned puffins, lots of seaもっと詳しく
Another day, another bushwhack, kayak and skiff. Very rainy on our hike, but beautiful scenery, and we have our rain clothes from top to bottom.
Today's land activity on Baranof Island was a bit less bushwhack and a bit more hike this time. Without trails, it felt strange to tromp through beautiful lush meadows with delicate wildflowers.
Our last full day onboard the ship in the waters of Alaska. Sea lions were basking on icebergs, and some of us got to pretend to be sea lions by taking the polar plunge! Water temp = 62 degrees, butもっと詳しく
