    We stopped for lunch and picked a spot that looked like it had the most "local" people eating there.

    When we got the menus and saw they only served a daily menu and had no English version, I started to feel a bit nervous. In most eastern-European small town/country places where you mention vegetarian options, you usually get served a some side dishes. We get our food and....feel instantly relieved. It looks very good and the portions are more generous than we expected.

    We walked up and down the main street and even found a monument that says: "Thanks to the Romanian army - they freed our city".
