    After a restless night (trying to sleep) in the desert, we shook the sand out of all our clothes and headed onward to Todra Gorge. This 1,600m gorge is hemmed in on all sides by vertical limestone cliffs and is called Morocco’s Grand Canyon.

    After lunch we visited the village rug co-operative where we watched how they made the authentic Berber rugs and carpets.
