Galway

We had to stop to use the facilities somewhere between Drumshanbo & Galway, at a pub called Tully’s. I bought a shot of Jameson so it didn’t seem like we just stopped to use the toilet. But also because Jameson and Ireland and a pub.

We got back on the road and finally arrived at our B&B in Kinvarra, Co Galway. We checked in and headed out for dinner. Weirdly, not a lot of places were open, but this place down the street, Keohle’s, had Guinness and food. They also advertised a John Prine tribute. So that’s cool.

Not a lot happening in Kinvarra tonight and we’re spelunking in the morning. Curiously, a pub called Tully’s is right next door. I should probably go investigate.Read more
