      Arriving in style...

      April 14, 2023 in Egypt ⋅ ☁️ 29 °C

      Abreisetag!

      Gute Nacht

And now the English version. Please bear in mind at school my English was terrible... and it seems I didn't made much progress so far😜

So, departure day. Didn't sleep very much the night before... as usual... lot of last minute stuff to be dealt with...

At 6:30AM the driver came to pick me up. At the airport checking of the board and security control was easy peasy even though I had to undergo a test for explosives... didn't trust my blue eyes apperently... So far so good... 💩started when being close to the gate an a friendly voice told me over the loudspeaker... your flight is delayed by 45 minutes... luckyily I was sitting at the gents room otherwise a mess would have happend😅 The connecting flight was scheduled with minimum time in between... now it was less than minimum... 🤮 Anyhow... all's well that ends well... I made it... and my board too!

I was sitting at row 1, aisle seat... and I had the pleasure of having all passengers pass by... and had the feeling some of of the living dead of a combined german/dutch ghost train was on the loose... as well as a weight watcher starter group on their way to a motivational event... they couldn't wait for the service to start to finally get ther preordered cookies and stuff🤣. Main topic of discussion was why they had to use only one seat even though two seat would be way more appropriate...

Anyhow, arrived in Hurghada sound and save... precooked taxi and hotel where perfect...

One quick dinner at an Egyptian Italian restaurant... and some wine... made my day...

      Hope 4 a perfect sleep...

      2morrow more....
      Good Night

      Day 2 con't.

      June 17, 2023 in Egypt ⋅ 🌙 68 °F

We visited the Egyptian Museum in Cairo and saw King Tut's treasure and many other unbelievable relics from thousands of years ago. Relics were well preserved with many of King Tut's belongings. Minature boats with people, animals along with mummys and coffins. Gold covered statues. If the statue had one foot forward, they were alive and if both feet with together, the God was dead and he had his arms crossed over his heart.Read more
