Annecy to Chateau Chillion and back

Drove almost 2 hours, to visit Chateau Chillion in Switzerland. When we crossed into Switzerland, we had to purchase a sticker, to be placed on the windshield. 40 euro...real shocker.
Made our way to the chateau. I was in awe of the setting. Mountains, lake and 13th century castle makes for a great time.
Interesting thing happened. I found a wallet on the ground. I opened it and found the man was Chinese. There were several tour buses, so I started asking anyone that looked oriental if they knew the man. Everyone said no. So we were standing in line to purchase tickets to go into the castle and turn in the wallet. The man in front of us told the ticket office that he had lost his wallet. You guessed it, it was his wallet. He was so relieved and thankful. He called me his hero.
We had a wonderful time touring the castle. We then drove back to Annecy where we visited "Old Town." The pictures show its beauty. We had an early dinner and went to bed early. Driving to Sarlet, France tomorrow.Read more
