Meteora Monasteries

Together with Thessaloniki I initially leave the coast and drive towards more rural areas of Greece. Once arrived in Kalambaka, I do several hikes around the Meteora Monasteries. Located on isolated, up to 300 meter high sandstone cliffs, the atmosphere appears even more mystical and authentic since it's raining and cloudy occasionally. On the trail I get to know two climbers, who support me with instructions to finally make it to the top of the rock right in between Agia Triada and Agios Stefanos.Leggi altro
