Kyoto - Fushimi-Inari Shrine

Shortly after sunrise we arrived at the Fushimi-Inari Shrine in Kyoto. The shrine is famous for its thousands torii gates, which straddle a network of trails behind its main buildings. The trails lead into the wooded forest of the sacred Mount Inari, which stands at 233 meters and belongs to the shrine grounds. The walk was great with only a few other people climbing up the hill.

Kurz nach Sonnenaufgang standen wir heute vor dem Fushimi-Inari Shrein in Kyoto. Der Schrein ist bekannt für seine tausend Torii-Tore, welche man durchlaufen muss um zum Gipfel des Mt. Inari zu gelangen. Es hat wirklich Spaß gemacht durch die ganzen Tore zu laufen, zumal kaum andere Touristen dort waren.En savoir plus
