Kakadu Air VIP Flug

Last night was really bad in our tent. At around 4am it was cold enough to sleep, but at 6:30am it was time to get up again to start the day before the heat comes back. Luckly there is a resort in the Kakadu so we thought it is time for an air-conditioned night in a safari glamping tent. We also booked a 30 minutes flight over the Kakadu National Park. Amazing to see these landscapes with an birds eye view. Now almost everything is dry but within the next three weeks the wet season will start and up to 60% of the national park will be covered with water (and crocs).

Letzte Nacht war wirklich anstrengend, denn erst gegen 4 Uhr morgens wurde es kühl genug um gut zu schlafen. Daher haben wir uns für heute ein nettes Glamping Zelt mit Klimaanlage gebucht. Zusätzlich gab es noch einen 30 minütigen Rundflug dazu. Da kein anderer unseren Flug gebucht hat wurde es ein VIP Privatrundflug über den Kakadu Nationalpark. Richtig cool den Park aus der Vogelperspektive zu sehen. Zurzeit kann man es sich kaum vorstellen aber in ca. drei Wochen beginnt die Regenzeit und der Park wird zu 60% unter Wasser stehen.
