Kakadu NP - Baramundi Gorge

Next national park on the list is the Kakadu National Park. The park itself is huge so we are staying for a couple of days. Today we drove to the Baramundi Gorge, a big plunge pool with a waterfall at the end. It is one of the really rare places in the Kakadu we can swim without the threat of meeting one of the crocs (at least in the dry season). To get here it was time to turn on our 4WD and have some fun on the dirt roads. :)

Der nächste Nationalpark auf unserer Liste ist der Kakadu Nationalpark. Der Park ist gigantisch groß weshalb wir auf der Durchreise ein paar mal campen werden. Erster Stop ist die Baramundi Gorge, ein großes Wasserloch mit einem netten Wasserfall. Es ist auch einer der sehr sehr wenigen Orte hier in denen man noch baden kann ohne den großen Salzwasserkrokodilen zu begegnen. Um hierher zu kommen war es auch mal wieder Zeit auf Allrad Antrieb umzuschalten und mit Balu durch den roten Sand zu rasen. :)Read more
