Day 3 Phakding/Namche Bazaar

Altitude 3450m

The trek to Namche Bazaar is known for a few things.

It's high hanging bridges
The hectic 2nd half accent. 2700 to 3450
The lovely waterfalls

It lived up to all three.

We saw numerous trains of Yak and donkey taking supplies into the mountains. The walk was reasonable - 11.3km but the last accent constantly steep.

We are sleeping in a nice tea house, had a hot shower and a hot honey whiskey.Læs mere
