We left Lobuche at 0600 and arrived back at the tea house at 1700. 10hours of walking above 5000m

It started snowing last night and it continued into the day. We got to Basecamp early afternoon.

This was a tough...tough day

The higher altitude maked this day's trekking quite challenging. The Changri Glacier looms ahead as the trek heads for Gorakshep, a small, usually frozen, lake, by lunchtime. Relaxed and got adjusted to the altitude before the attempt to reach Everest Base Camp

After lunch, we trekked to Everest Base Camp. The route follows the Khumbu Glacier with its intriguing 15m (49ft)-high seraces of ice, a feature unique to Himalayan glaciers. Returned to Gorakshep for an overnight stay.
