    For lunch, we stopped at Fırat Yüzer Balık Restaurant, located directly on the Euphrates River. Its waterfront setting created a wonderful atmosphere. We tried Balık Kebabı, a regional fish specialty. The fish was freshly prepared and perfectly grilled. It was served with fresh salads and traditional side dishes. While dining, we enjoyed views of the Euphrates and the surrounding scenery. The restaurant is known for its fresh ingredients and regional cuisine. The relaxed environment made the meal especially enjoyable. The combination of delicious food and beautiful views was outstanding. It became one of the culinary highlights of our journey.

  • ⛴️Halfeti Batık Kent

    In the afternoon, we visited Halfeti, the famous "sunken city" on the Euphrates River. Part of the old town was flooded after the construction of the Birecik Dam. This created a unique landscape where historic buildings emerge partially from the water. The partially submerged minaret is one of Halfeti's most famous landmarks. A boat trip on the Euphrates offered spectacular views of the surroundings. The peaceful atmosphere made the place especially captivating. Halfeti combines history, nature, and modern development in a remarkable way. During our visit, we learned more about the region and the impact of the dam project. The scenery provided countless photographic opportunities. It was an unforgettable experience.

  • 🍽️ Fırat Yüzer Balık Restorant

    After our excursion to Halfeti, we returned once more to Fırat Yüzer Balık Restaurant. The relaxed atmosphere along the Euphrates invited us to stay a little longer. We enjoyed the river views and reflected on the experiences of the day. The peaceful surroundings provided a pleasant break before continuing our journey. It was a wonderful moment to relax and unwind.

  • 🛍️Coppersmith Bazaar

    In the late afternoon, we visited Gaziantep's famous Bakırcılar Bazaar. The historic market is renowned for its traditional copper craftsmanship. In the workshops, we watched skilled artisans create beautiful copper items by hand. The rhythmic hammering filled the narrow streets with life. Many shops sold handmade trays, coffee pots, and decorative pieces. This centuries-old tradition continues to thrive today. Between the workshops, we found cafés and stores offering regional specialties. The atmosphere was lively and authentic. The bazaar provided an impressive insight into Gaziantep's cultural heritage. Walking through its streets was a memorable experience.

  • 🏨Met Gold Hotel

    In the evening, we arrived at Met Gold Hotel in Gaziantep. After an eventful day, we looked forward to some rest. The hotel provided a comfortable stay and a good base for the next day's activities. We spent a relaxing evening reflecting on the many experiences of the day. Another exciting travel day came to an end with plenty of wonderful memories.

  • 🏛️Zeugma Mosaic Museum

    In the morning, we visited the famous Zeugma Mosaic Museum in Gaziantep. The museum is considered one of the world's most important archaeological museums and houses one of the largest mosaic collections ever discovered. The artworks originate from the ancient city of Zeugma, once located along the Euphrates River. We were especially impressed by the remarkably preserved mosaics and their intricate details. The famous "Gypsy Girl" mosaic is the museum's most iconic exhibit and a symbol of Gaziantep. During our tour, we admired numerous scenes from Greek mythology. The masterpieces demonstrate the extraordinary craftsmanship of ancient artists. Modern exhibition techniques make the displays particularly engaging. The museum offers a fascinating glimpse into life nearly 2,000 years ago. Visiting it was undoubtedly one of the cultural highlights of our entire journey.

  • 🕌Eshab‑ı Kehf Cave

    In the early afternoon, we arrived at the Cave of the Seven Sleepers near Tarsus. The site is closely linked to the famous legend of the Seven Sleepers, which is important in both Christianity and Islam. According to tradition, the young men hid here from persecution and slept for many years. The cave has been a significant pilgrimage destination for centuries. During our visit, we could clearly feel the site's religious importance. Besides the cave itself, the complex includes historic structures and places of worship. Many visitors come here to pray or learn more about the legend. The peaceful atmosphere made the experience especially memorable. The story of the site connects different religious traditions. Visiting it was both culturally and spiritually fascinating.

  • ⛴️Nusret Mine Ship

    Afterwards, we visited the Nusret Mine Ship, one of the most famous vessels in Turkish history. The ship played a crucial role during the Gallipoli Campaign in World War I. By laying mines in strategic locations, Nusret significantly contributed to stopping the advance of the Allied fleet. Today, the ship serves as a museum commemorating these historic events. During our tour, we learned a great deal about the vessel and its crew. The exhibits provide fascinating insights into this important period of history. We were particularly impressed by the connection between technology and military strategy. The ship has become a symbol of courage and tactical brilliance. Many visitors come here to learn more about the Dardanelles campaign. It was an especially rewarding visit for history enthusiasts.

  • 🕌Sabancı Central Mosque

    In the late afternoon, we visited the magnificent Sabancı Central Mosque in Adana. It is one of the largest mosques in Turkey and a defining landmark of the city. Its six towering minarets are visible from afar. The architecture combines classical Ottoman design with modern influences. Inside, we were impressed by the mosque's immense size, elegant decorations, and grand dome. The complex is located along the Seyhan River, creating a beautiful setting. Many visitors come to admire the architecture or enjoy a moment of peace. The surrounding gardens are well maintained and perfect for a stroll. In the afternoon light, the building looked especially majestic. Visiting this landmark was one of the most impressive architectural experiences of our trip.
