Our village walk continues

Bruno and Steve took us to see some traditional village houses before showing us the Tanzania Assembly of God temple. This bright new building with its tended garden and colourful paintwork was incongruous against its background of mud huts and broken-down shacks. We were shocked to discover that the villagers who live in such poverty all contributed to the building of the church!

Our next stop was at a banana plantation where we tried banana beer and banana wine, neither of which was to our taste!Læs mere
