Ganga Aarti

We then went for a delicious malai lassi, a thick, creamy version topped with a dollop of fresh cream. Afterwards, we went in totos to Assi Ghat, the southernmost ghat in Varanasi, to watch the Ganga Aarti ceremony. It was similar to others I've seen, but we were quite far away from the action, so we couldn't really see what was going on.

We ended the day in a pasta and pizza restaurant. Fiona and I just had a drink. We then returned to the hotel in autos.Leggi altro
