• Work Away

    19. Mai 2017 in Bulgarien ⋅ ⛅ 19 °C

Since being here, everything has broken down.
    Literally everything is shitty.
The internet, washing machine, electricity, torch, tractor, car, cooker, gas bottle, shower gah over it, I want things just to work not have a different combo of broken things everyday.

This morning was tough. It was ice cold. We waited until 5:25 before getting out of the tent. Even the Europeans were cold this morning.
We were allowed to have a tea/coffee before we left this morning. It was the same teams as yesterday only the holland chick joined us. It felt like there was wayyyyy more flowers today only we didn't end up picking as many?
We did the same fields as yesterday.
I tried the other picking technique and ended up having way less pollen goo on my hands - I'm not convinced it made a difference though. I think the morning dew also helped.
Looking in the rose bag afterwards you can see so many bugs. It must be the secret ingredient.
At the end of field 2 we used the drone to take videos and photos of us all. Johnny drop boxed them to me so I'm the only one that has them - yay iPhones.
When home I had a mountain of cereal and Will went to the bakery and bought the cheese filled Pastery.
    I was first to bed.
Woke up because of the heat again only today I'm going to try and stay awake for longer and not go back down. The sleep is really getting to me. I would love a night of uninterrupted sleep without that bird, the Koreans snoring or stupid temperature changes. Whinge whinge whinge.
I think we are having crepes for lunch which sounds amazing.
I'm now writing this at night and can't really remember what I did today.
I did crash, hard. Couldn't stay awake. I've been wanting to watch ice age for a week now but even that is too taxing lol. Isn't that a sad truth lol.
I spent a lot of the day transferring this current diary to the new app. It's very time consuming but hopefully it solves the problem.
I'm unsure about the Netherlands chick. She is nice and friendly but for some reason we aren't clicking very well. Oh well.
Kazakhstan left for America today but before he left he left (in assuming it was him again) another pebble on the edge of the hole -.- WHY? I check religiously to make sure my aim was accurate why don't others?!?
Lunch was yum. I ate too much because I didn't want to waste a banana I used half of on my first crepe.
Next memory is buying juice at the shop which everyone then drank before me and Will had any lol.
Then we got out washing off the line.
Then back to the shop to buy a beer to soak the onions in for our BBQ dinner. On the way kids spoke to us in English and asked my name
    -
    Oo! I remembered something!
At lunch a kid showed us and invited the Koreans to lunch. He was told to come back later but never did. It probably offended them that they didn't come straight away.

I had a shower and washed my hair. The floor is so dirty I stand on the edge of the bathtub to get changed.
    I chopped the onions
Ate the most scrumptious dinner! The yogurt dip that goes with the meat is to die for!
    Oh, and the garlic butter!!!
Then randomly Matthew and the Koreans played the violin for everyone.
    Matthew is full of surprises.
Such a strange human that has started to make me laugh more regularly.
No cards tonight, back to bed.
