Jakarta H3 #2838

This was the celebration of the Jakarta H3’s 50th Anniversary, delayed by 19 months due to the pandemic. Originally founded on 22 Mar 1971, the Jakarta H3 was the first hash club in Indonesia (the history can be read here, if interested [http://harrier.org/.../Week-of-Mon-20150629/008…].

The hares went all out to make this a special trail, and carted by bus for 2 hours, to a location south of Bogor. There were nearly 100 hashers signed up, with many old time Jakarta hashers flying in for the event.

Trail options included a short (7.5 km), medium (10 km), and long (12+ KM). There was plenty of climbing, and many amazing views of the local environment . . . and tons of shiggy. We even passed a waterfall. The long trail was grueling and took me 3 hours to complete, but well worth the effort. At the end, there was plenty of eat and drink before the circle kicked off.
