2021-On On to my 100th Country

What an awesome shiggy trail from Cha Cha and Sherriff out in New Tampa (that's easier to say than Thonotosassa 😂😂😂). It seemed to take forever to get things going, as hashers were straggling into the start right up until go time. Then Peterfile, who was stand in RA, just wanted to keep on rambling. Just when we thought we were out, Taint says why don't we introduce everyone (all 30 of us) . . . and 10 minutes later, after all sorts of end of run circle shit goes down, we were FINALLY on out. Runner's trail (as you can see from the map) crisscrossed all over the shiggified world, eventually passing by a shot stop, and then a beer stop (where we encountered the walkers . . . and a bit of a circle jerk), but not to be deterred, we ventured on towards the finish, capped with a couple small water crossings, then back up onto the berm, where trail just sort of petered out about a mile from the finish, with a cheerful ON IN posted. I was leading the pack in a non-competitive sort of way at this point, but as I meandered off into the woods looking for trail, 2 Rung, Blue Oyster C*nt, and Fluffer all managed to put me in my place as I dragged in behind them. It would be a good 35-40 more minutes before the rest of the pack staggered in, along with the auto-hashers who never left the parking lot. We did manage to get a very interesting and fun circle in before the sun set, and the park closed on us. We had a very respectable turn out for the On After at Uncle Fats Tavern, with plenty more laughing and foolishness. A most excellent day on the TBH3, and an excellent shiggy trail. Czytaj więcej
