Ready to Launch

After an amazing day of exploring Petra, I woke up and started the journey to my next stop, what an ordeal it turned into. I departed on schedule, for both checking out of the hotel, and alsoЧитать далее
Quick Layover in Istanbul

Istanbul was a mess. I was the first one off the plane, but still ended up behind 200 other passengers waiting in line for another security check to get into the international transfer area.Читать далее
Next stop, Zagreb

Landed on schedule, and was a bit concerned how the customs situation was going to work. I had my vaccine card, and filled out the paperwork in advance, but proceeded with cautious optimism. Line wasЧитать далее
Zagreb H3 #2393

Good to be back with the Zagreb H3. Last year just before COVID hit, we had a super fun trail up and over the mountain. This trail was very much like that, but a bit shorter. Seems that local hashingЧитать далее
Headed to the Dalmatian Cruise

After a few days exploring Zagreb, it was time to start moving south towards Split, where we will board our boat for the week long hash cruise. We drove the first leg from Zagreb to Zadar, to see someЧитать далее
All Aboard

Had a nice drive down the coast today, making the final leg into Split. We'll spend the night in a little AirBnB, then board the boat in the morning. Then it will be 7 days, 7 islands, 7 hash trails.Читать далее
Dalmatian H3 Cruise 2021 #1

First trail is in the bag. On the way over, our organizer, Antibiotics, said everything is set, but we have no hare. Say no more . . . I'm in. It was a tight time schedule, off the boat at 1730, weЧитать далее
Korcula

This stop is in honor of Evelyn Wood, speed reading this port. Only one hour to walk around, then back onto the high seas of the Adriatic.
Dalmatian H3 Cruise 2021 #2

An excellent second effort. True trail was 7.2k, but with the falsies, I managed 9.2, and ended up as FRB. This island life is fun.
Dalmatian Hash Cruise #3

Another excellent trail. Apparently, it was a red dress run. Who knew???
Dalmatian Hash Cruise #4

It was supposed to be a bit different, but due to a missed mark (runner/walker split) it turned into a 16 km extravaganza. Good times on the Dalmatian Hash.
Dalmatian Hash Cruise #5

It was the three dead ends, two hills, and one Bloody Mary stop trail. Despite the trail, the Croatian island are lovely.
Dalmatian Hash Cruise #6

Another lovely day on a Croatian island. Vis was a cold war fortress, no foreigners were allowed here until the 1990s. It was a Navy and Army base, fortified with underground bunkers. Now, it is aЧитать далее
Dalmatian Hash Cruise #7

Day 7 of this magnificent trip. It was a short jaunt around the ville, but good scenery and exercise.
That's all folks!

Seven days floating the Adriatic, visiting 7 islands, and running 7 hash trails. Great fun with 40 other hashers. Now it's time to head off to the airport for the next adventure. On On.
Next stop, Stuttgart

After one week in Jordan, two weeks in Croatia, it's time to move on up to central Europe for the summer.
DST H3 Trail #600

Quick flight up from Croatia to Germany, arrived in time to join my youngest. The DST H3 made it to 600 trails. 11.5 miles (18.5 Kms) of fun in the German countryside.
DST H3 Trail #615

Was great to be back on some home turf here in Stuttgart. Hared trail, for a rousing pack of 20+ hashers. One of my favorite areas down in the valley. Was a little shorter (7.5 Kms) than I had hopedЧитать далее
Zeppelin Ride

Certainly not something you do everyday. Pretty cool ride on (just like) the Good Year blimp.
Swiss Nash Hash 2021

After a prelube event in Ravensberg, Germany, we moved on over to St Gallen, Switzerland for Swiss Nash Hash. It was a most excellent event hosted by the Winterthur-Schaffhausen H3. The theme was "WeЧитать далее
Stuttgart H3 #741

After 8 years, I am finally back on the Stuttgart H3. We had an excellent trail today from One In Every Port and his son. The marks have changed a bit since I was last here, adding many of the crazyЧитать далее
DST H3 #616

Hared another DST trail in my old stomping grounds. Really love that area, and it was the same start location as the first DST trail back in 2009, but I set a bit of a different trail this time. GoodЧитать далее
Layover in Istanbul

Everything was going smoothly this morning. Up early, and packed, easy. Rental car return, easy. Proceed to covid test, easy. Then the 90 minute processing I paid extra for, nothing. Went back to theЧитать далее
Another New City, Baku

After all the trouble getting on board, arrival was a breeze. No issues with the CDC vaccine card. It is 6 am here, cannot check into hotel until 2 pm. I am surprised that I got no questions about myЧитать далее
