    Jiyuguan is the fortress at the west end of the Greatwall of China, construction started in Ming Dynasty 1372AD after General Feng Sheng regained control of Hexi. It strategically located at the chokepoint of Hexi Passage at its narrowest about 30kms. It had been considered as the “Number One Majestic Fortress”.
    嘉峪关始建于明洪武5年(公元1732年)冯胜收复河西之后,是长城最西端关城。它扼守在河西走廊最窄处(约30公里)。号称天下第一雄关。
