The trip is concluded 旅程结束

Our trip ends today. The entire journey included:
• a 5-day self-drive pre-trip from Ushuaia, Argentina, to Punta Arenas, Chile;
• an 11-day cruise from Ushuaia to Antarctic Peninsula; and
• a one-day post-trip city tour in Bogotá.

Including time spent flying, the trip lasted a total of 20 days.

During the pre-trip, we only scratched the surface of Patagonia, but we experienced its wilderness, vast landscapes, and sense of emptiness. Punta Arenas, Chile—the most important port city on the Strait of Magellan—impressed us with its bright colors, good food, and rich history.

During the cruise to the Antarctic Peninsula, we stepped onto the seventh continent for the third and fourth time. We landed on several small islands and revisited Paradise Bay, Neko Harbour, and the Great Wall Station. We were fortunate to observe wildlife at extremely close range, including humpback whales sleeping and bubble-feeding, penguins competing for mates, chicks hatching, and skuas stealing eggs. We also saw many seabirds, such as wandering, sooty, and black-browed albatrosses, as well as several kinds of giant petrels, snow petrels, fulmars, and many others.

The post-trip day tour in Bogotá ended our journey perfectly. Highlights included the city view from the top of Monserrate, the fine craftsmanship of the Gold Museum’s pre-Spanish indigenous artifacts, lively markets, street sculptures and bold graffiti, rich Colombian coffee, and a wide variety of sweet and sour fruits.

This trip also marks the end of our 2025 travels. Goodbye Chile, goodbye Argentina, goodbye Antarctica, and goodbye Colombia.

• 行前 5 天从阿根廷乌斯怀亚自驾前往智利蓬塔阿雷纳斯；
• 从乌斯怀亚出发、前往南极半岛的 11 天游轮；以及
• 行程结束后的波哥大一日城市游。

再加上空中飞行时间，全程共计 20 天。

在行前的自驾途中，我们只是浅尝辄止地接触了巴塔哥尼亚，却已深刻体会到它的荒野、辽阔，以及那种近乎“虚无”的震撼。位于麦哲伦海峡最重要港口城市的智利蓬塔阿雷纳斯，以其鲜艳的色彩、丰富的美食和深厚的历史底蕴给我们留下了深刻印象。

在前往南极半岛的邮轮旅程中，我们第三次、第四次踏上了第七大陆，登陆了多座小岛，并重访了天堂湾、尼科港和长城站。我们十分幸运，得以在极近距离观察到座头鲸睡眠与气泡捕食；企鹅的求偶竞争；企鹅孵蛋；以及贼鸥偷食企鹅蛋的场景。我们还观测到了多种海鸟，包括漂泊信天翁、灰头信天翁、黑眉信天翁，以及不同种类的巨鹱、雪海燕、暴雪鸌等，数量之多成群结队颇为壮观。

行程最后的波哥大一日城市游，为整个旅程画上了完美的句号：蒙塞拉特山俯瞰城市的壮丽景色；黄金博物馆中西班牙人到来之前哥伦比亚原住民精湛的金器工艺；充满活力的市集；街头随处可见的雕塑与夸张的涂鸦；风味纯正、却难以用语言形容的正宗哥伦比亚咖啡；酸甜各异的热带水果……等等。

这次旅行也为我们 2025 年的全部出行活动做了一个非常圆满的总结。
