And Janis wrote on FB “Our final stop of the day was at the beautiful Casa Palopo Hotel nestled up the mountains overlooking the lake. COVID has kept lots of tourists away so none of the hotel restaurants were crowded. We were the only ones at lunch today and our waiter spoiled us with attention.”

Also Janis wrote about her last day in Panajachel - "Last morning to wake up to this beauty. Headed back to Guatemala City today. I will miss the cool mornings, the volcanos on the horizon, the colorful flowers, singing birds, squirrels playing and the sound of Tuk Tuks driving down the street.
