• Day 14 Edinburgh, Scotland

    27 de septiembre, Escocia ⋅ ☁️ 59 °F

We had a late arrival because between 10pm and 11pm the NCL Star slowed down to have an emergency helicopter airlift to get someone to the hospital. Because of that, we arrived at 10:30 instead of 9:00am. Then face-to-face immigration before we could get off.

We took the Hop on Hop Off bus (blue line). We walked up Mile road. Walked into a Radisson hotel to use the bathroom. Glenn talked to a guy that was playing bagpipes along the road. We toured St. Giles cathedral.

We had plans to visit with Robert Bell and his wife (friends with Ian Leitch/Moody Bible Institute) but since we arrived late, it wasn’t meant to be. Next time!

Day was good. Edinburgh is a beautiful city. I only wish that my dear friend Ian Leitch was still alive, I would have enjoyed visiting him in his beautiful country. Ian and I served together on MBI Alumni Board. We sat next to each other during the meetings. Ian even flew to Guatemala 2007 to be our guest speaker.
