• Day 15/16 Sea Day & London

    29. september, England ⋅ ⛅ 57 °F

Sunday was sea day. Glenn and I attended the worship service. I took a nap and in the evening we had dinner with Maria and Jim. Pack and ready to get off of NCL Star.

We docked at 5am. Glenn got me oatmeal for breakfast. We took an NCL London tour with drop off at Heathrow. It was just a quick overview of London.

Customs and immigration was a breeze. Our first stop was Buckingham palace. Changing of the guards. Next stop. Tower of London, fish and chips. We drove by Big Ben, Westminster abbey, London bridge, Trafalghar square, Piccadilly square.

We navigated from terminal 2 where we were dropped off to take a free shuttle (train) to terminal 4 then a walking bridge to the hotel,

We asked for room with a few of the airport and airstrip. 625! Nice view. Now to do the reverse to get to terminal 3 for tomorrow’s non stop flight to DFW!

This has been an epic journey to Norway, seeing the fjords and then over to Iceland and seeing the northern lights! We had great crew and pretty good food. The seas were typically calm except fur one day and it was EXTREMELY high seas. I felt I could have rolled out of bed. In conclusion, this was country number 71, 72, and 73! (Norway, Iceland and Scotland).
