NOTICE: RULES ON FLYING IN THE BAGAN AREA

We would like to inform you that the Ministry of Culture in Myanmar has imposed strict rules on all balloon companies flying in the Bagan area. All balloons must now stay a minimum of 300ft in altitude above the temples and except for reasons of safety we have been advised not to land within the Central Monument Zone (see red area below). Due to these restrictions your flight may not be directly over the Central Monument Zone and we may be forced to cancel flights to comply with these rules.Read more
