Crazy pidgeon man

This afternoon we strolled around getting to know the city. We stopped in a square with an old Croatian man who was feeding the pidgeons and it was like a scene from Hitchcock’s ‘The Birds’. The statue didn’t look too impressed by their presence either. When kids chased the birds the old man ranted at them! It was really funny.

We found the Grounded Sun. This s is the centre part of a city-wide art installation of the solar system which is made to scale. All around the city, from this point, the other planets can be found in an exact scale compared to this sun and the exact distance from it.

We walked up to the station and got our reservation for the next train to Budapest on Saturday and ate at a Chinese restaurant close by before walking back to the hostel.En savoir plus
