Medan

Upon our arrival at Medan airport we met our guide Denis. We then got onto the bus and went as fast as we could safely go to Bukit Lawang. Unfortunately, the weather was getting worse and worse - the rain would not stop, so we had to wait for a long time before we were actually able to start trecking. It still continued to rain heavily and so we only trecked for about 90 minutes to a camp in the jungle where we would pend the night. It was quite adenturous though, since it was pitch dark and only few of us had flash lights and we had to cross the river several times. We all enjoyed this treck, as it was something quite special.Les mer
