Upon our arrival at Medan airport we met our guide Denis. We then got onto the bus and went as fast as we could safely go to Bukit Lawang. Unfortunately, the weather was getting worse and worse - theWeiterlesen
The next morning we woke up at 6, had breakfast by the river and then hiked back to Bukit Lawang where our bus was waiting. Since we lost a lot of time on the way due to never ending selfie takingWeiterlesen
Once back on the bus it took us about two hours to get to the starting point of our rafting trip. It took about 3 hours and for most of us, it was probably the highlight of the trip.
On our way from Medan to Lake Toba we first stopped at a Replica of the Shwedagon Pagoda in Yangon, Myanmar, which was built by the small Buddhist minority of Sumatra.
We made several stops on the way to the Lake, e.g. at a local fruit market and at a village
