Bukit Lawang

The next morning we woke up at 6, had breakfast by the river and then hiked back to Bukit Lawang where our bus was waiting. Since we lost a lot of time on the way due to never ending selfie taking (mainly by the guys...), we did not have time for another hike around the mountains where we might have seen orang utans. So unfortunately we never saw any. However we did encouter a large group of a smaller kind of monkey towards the end of the hike which was quite stunning.Read more
